He seems ok…a little lethargic still. Maybe a bit less of an appetite today but not bad. But he’s definitely not back to his old self. He wakes me up every single morning without fail between 4 and 5:30 AM with snuggles or demands for (fresh) food (heaven forbid he eat what was left out) ….and he has not woken me up since his dental so I know he’s not himself…. yet.
 
His lethargy has worsened and his appetite has gone. He had been sleeping concerningly soundly for hours (very unusual, compared to his usual daytime activity), so I woke him up (which took more effort than I am comfortable with) to give him a snack and I bothered him enough that he went outside without eating and now I don’t know where he is. I did notice him look to the bowl as though he was going to eat, but then stopped himself so maybe his mouth is hurting or he’s feeling nauseous ….:oops: I will give him an hour of peace and then go looking at all his favourite spots. If his condition doesn’t improve I’m a little at a loss as to whether I should give him insulin or not. I’ll base it off his numbers but perhaps it’s going to be a bcs again. He had been doing well on the Clavamox this time around. I hope there isn’t a complication brewing from the Dental.

Could it be post-op pain still going? Would something like baby foods be easier for him to eat?
Poor thing. It must be so hard for you to see him like that. Hope he feels better soon :bighug::bighug::bighug:
