5/8 Harley PMPS 401

[Harley and Pattie]

Harley is only 283 this AM. He did vomit his snack last night - very unusual for him. I don't know what to do. I don't want to shoot and because I won't be around to test at all. I can put food into the auto feeder but no guarantee he will be the one eating it.

I am thinking of not shooting this AM but then shoot on schedule tonight.

That is what I am going to do...not shoot. That way I am not worried all day that something is happening with him. I would rather handle a high bg tonight than wonder if he is falling too low during the day.

I think without a +8 or +9 (since you'd be shooting 2 hrs early) you have no way to know if the numbers were heading down at AMPS. I think putting safety first makes good sense.

I don't blame you for skipping. Too much insulin can actually be more dangerous than too little in the immediate term. You can catch back up tonight. Hope you have a great day Pattie!

Harley is only 401 - very surprising. thought I would come home to a 500+. shot 3u but a little late. Tomorrow if I shoot, I would have to shoot about 15-30 minutes early which is not bad.
