Thankfully Elian seems pretty much back to normal with no signs of pain - other than to my credit card for the "urgent" vet visit. But supposedly that was better than the original "emergency" visit charge. Glad he's back in the blue now and I hope he decides its a beautiful day for surfing. The only concern I had was that he decided to hide earlier today - in a spot I thought was securely blocked off..... until now. I have a platform bed with nightstands that 'butt'up to it and a block headboard behind. There is an opening like a tunnel at each end next to the nightstands that allow him behind the platform but in front of the headboard. Since he was nowhere else to be found - and I know ALL hiding spots - it took three of us to pull bed away and find him. He wasn't happy but I brought him out and fed him and cuddled him. And blocked off both sides again. I'm just not sure why he wanted to hide. When I left the house earlier today he was happily on the patio with his brothers - getting fresh air.
Anyway - no limping, growling, hissing or scratching. And he finally pooped last night and again today. Yay Elian!
