Today, Darcy did not want to eat. I finally syringe fed him at +6. I also finally gave a Cerenia. I had given the Ondansetron earlier and he did not eat. Maybe the syringe feeding will get him going.

Once again, at the same dose, he's giving me blues today instead of greens. It's fine in terms of BG, I'm fine with the blues and will actually be able to get out of the house and run some errands today and not worry about BG (will just worry about the lack of eating). Hopefully, it will just be one of his days where he doesn't like to eat much in the morning, but his appetite picks up in the afternoon.

If they aren't feeling great, sometimes that can show as a small rise in numbers too. Or he could be bouncing. Regardless a great time to be patient on the dose. Doses with some green in them get to be held for 10 cycles (unless he drops) before deciding to increase.

And, Liz, I have been trying to find reliable information on the carb content of the Tiny Tiger since yesterday when you inquired. I think I was relying on Chewy's information... but I have been seeking it from other sources. I have not been ignoring you!

Yes. You are right. I'm not really going for remission right now, Summer. I am fine with blues and he's given me some greens... I'm fine with it. Right now, I have priorities such as getting his kidney values down (blood work) and overall to gain weight and regain his health. Thanks, Summer, for being so understanding!

Yes, thank you so much, Wendy! I am thinking I need to hold a bit, too. There's a lot going on with him right now. I appreciate your looking in on what's going on in his SS. I was thinking that maybe he was not feeling as well today and so his numbers were up? Who knows... his appetite is picking up a bit this evening.

wasn't it Dolly Parton? I am just going by memory .. as you may be able to tell... and have not gotten help from the internet!
 
Evening update is that about 5:00 p.m. (around +11.5) he started eating agin. Thank heaven for Pure Bites Chicken. I sure hope that they aren't too high in phosphorus. He loves them, and sprinkling them on his food got him to eat. I am soooo happy when I watch him eat.

Well done, yes Dolly! She recently did a new version - vaccine, vaccine, vaccine...vaccinnnnneee! (she contributed $1M to the Moderna research)

Sorry for all these posts, you have enough on your plate. Don't stress yourself on this, I can email them myself but thought I'd check if you already had it. Good work Darcy, you look good in blue.

ETA - Looking nice at +5.25 :) I can't believe this cat used to get >40u not so long ago :)
