Hi LL, Sorry for the late post. Not too much to report today. Daphne seems to be ok in the litter box department. (questioned yesterday or before, about her having problems, possibly with constipation or UTI, but she took care of business today just fine, fingers and paws crossed).

Rain, yuk today in NJ. I guess it's great for the trees and grass, but not for much else.

Sending healing vines to all the kitties and beans who need them. I know we had a few last night and I just got on my computer, so I hope I will read some good news.

Hi Barb. I say, no news is good news.
I hope all this rainy gloomy weather hasn't got you feeling too too bad.

Thanks Barb, for your caring words. The rain sure doesn't help my illness, but I did put some grass seed down, so I try to think of my grass feeling good  I fight with my lawn every year, we have a well, so we can't really use chemicals, and so I just give it dirty looks all summer

Daphne just gave me a 62, so that makes me feel good. I'm training her with the auto feeder this week, I started with holding the dish part, now I just held the part with the timer, and she looked at it like it came from Mars, but she still ate the food.

I couldn't agree more about this weather - yuck...with no end in sight! The leaves on my maple look better now that they've had some water, but I need some sunshine!!

Oh, the lawn...we're like you, no chemicals. We don't have a well, but we worry about the critters running around in, and munching on, chemically-treated grass...it's not worth it. At least the weeds are green (and who decided weeds are bad to begin with?!?!)!!

Good luck with the auto feeder. As much as Trix loves to eat, I couldn't get her to make the connection between the sound of it opening, and food. It's been gathering dust on the kitchen counter since last summer  ....

   Great day for Daphne! :-D :-D Good luck with the auto feeder - it sounds like it is off to a good start. I hope your day was a good one.

It was crummy here too!! Moonie moped & slept all day...As long as it's green it's good right?
Looks like beautiful numbers tonite here-Really good--better get the ~O) ~O) ~O) out, you may be up for a while :o --Hugs & Lubs from us! Lovely Green Miss Daphne!
BTW--Moonie thinks there is some special food in that feeder thing & she eats every bit (no idea why)
Maybe add some treats like freeze dried chicken with the food to show her it's like treats & food.. ;-)
It could work.

Amy, yes, I also don't want my other criters to walk through chemicals to eat their food. We've had a family of groundhogs living under our shed for years, (well, we really don't know if its the same family), but we love them anyway…and the birds and the deer. We like them, sometimes more then our neighbors

Roni, I was thinking I would put catnip in one of the feeders, but I may not have to, so far so good.

Michelle, well, as for a good day, we had the yucky rain, but as Roni said, "as long as its green its good", so I will stop complaining about our rain.

Melissa, so sorry you have pain too, isn't so draining?

Ahhhh good ol auto feeder training is fun isn't it? It takes time and i hope Daphne learns to accept the magic of the auto feeder!

Nice numbers today for Daphne and sorry to hear about how much the rain bothers your illness.

Thanks for you kind words yesterday in Leo's condo Barb, it means a lot.
