Skipped posting yesterday, was just a bad day. Awful day at work, got home slightly late, went immediately to bed after shooting with a terrible migraine that had me nauseous and in tears. Numbers were meh, Gizmo was cranky and uncooperative, and I was fed up with the litterbox having to be changed after only 4.5 days. Feels like for every part of this diagnosis I try to cheapen, I find another thing that is putting me further in debt.
This morning, Gizmo made the executive descion that today is the day we stopped using both the AT2 and the relion, by making me waste 2 AT2 strips being a pain in the butt, which were the last 2 I had since the new box wasnt delivered until this afternoon. So today was the Relion meter only. And unless I need to run numbers for the vet, I'm probably gonna keep it that way.
No luck catching him at the litterbox yet to test for ketones. I've tested Widget a few times now because I can't believe he is responsible for all this pee but her numbers and blood are perfectly fine so I guess he really is just an overachiever.
I was a jerk and accidentally overbrushed him with the furminator on Sunday. Found out the hard way you can brush a bald spot with those
Its not totally bald but I brushed away about a 2 inch patch of all the underfur by mistake because he was purring so hard when I brushed that spot and I thought it would only brush away excess fur. He doesn't seem to care but I feel awful every time I see it.
