He was CPC last night. He also received his probiotic and his SEB. He seems to eat that pinch more food when he gets those.

Civvie CKD Rain got her SEB in her food. Only ate half of it as I think the smell she is aware of due to trying to force it on her. Hope she comes around to eating all the wet food given. She has an option of the KD dry as she will fall back onto that for food when she will not eat anything else.

He slept with DS last night, so no cuddles for me :(.

I cannot get Rufus to eat food with SEB in it. And I've tried the ball but it's just too much to try to give to him.

Rain is a 6lb alligator. I tried to 2 nights giving the "pill" and it was horrendous. I skipped a night and she vomitted so I was going to try it in her food. Even if she gets a little bit and it helps I will take it.

Jones will not eat food with it in...so he gets the pill ball pushed into his mouth. He hates it but I follow up with a piece of cooked chicken.

Do you smush the ball on the roof of his mouth, or just let him swallow it?

It doesn’t seem very tasty, I was shocked that Asia would eat it, but she’s been a piggy these days and doesn’t turn her nose up at much of anything anymore.

I wonder if it would help to use instead of water, some chicken broth (homemade bone free) or tuna juice to mix up the SEB? Just something to mask the taste/smell a bit. Hope you figure something out. It’s the pits when you find a supplement that is helpful but you can’t get it in to them! We had issues with the multi B vitamins after a bit (they are bitter) but now Asia will eat them in a gel cap covered in cream cheese.

:bighug:

My two lick the saucer clean the meals that have the SEB in it. ECID

I like Stacy's idea of chicken broth or tuna water for the liquid. Just read the ingredients of the tuna can. Even though the front of the can says IN WATER , the back ingredients say tuna, water ,and vegetable broth. Bumble Bee Very Low Sodium tuna in water is truly tuna in water.

Sounds tricky.
