Well, well, well.....was not expecting an AMPS of 282 :shock: - Not a clue where that came from. She didn't eat much at all overnight. I was starting to think our Lantus was pooping out and I needed to switch to a new pen - but with that +4 of 82, I think the pen is OK. Zoe did not go low at anytime - or least not that I caught and she didn't get any illegal food - so I am confused by the 282 and the big drop. :? :? :? Any thoughts???

Morning! Wow on the amps - not too sure why either... it's not like she dropped real low the day before and she's bouncing. Maybe she just being a cat. The +4 sure is nice, and I guess one can consider the 282 a blip on the radar. At least you know your pen is still good....

I wish I could give you answer....That 282 does seem out of the ordinary for Zoe. But glad she came down to a nice green for ya.

Hi, Happy Caturday to you both..as you know 282 is a yellow & up until recent "normal" for Zoe.. I suspect it was just a # that she gives if she didn't eat something, etc.
Baby does this a lot.. many times she does not go CrAzY low, but regardless I wake up to a mostly yellow.. sometimes pink # ohmygod_smile

Hi Sherry, Did you retest the 282? Maybe it was a meter error. Anyway, Zoe looks great at +4. Have a great Caturday!

@Michelle - and I was gonna throw the pen away! I think I will keep using it.... ;-)

@Tena - Yep, I sure am glad too! And it's nice to see green continue.

@Nicole - Thanks - I forgot about the "up until recently" she was always yellow.....thanks, I needed that! :mrgreen:

@Kristen - I think she is going to surf the greens....+5 87! :-D

@Ella - no, I didn't retest - I probably should have - just wasn't thinking that well at 5am. :roll:

OK - another nice green at +5 - I am getting ready to leave and will be gone until about +11 - I am leaving her with FF Tuna and Mackeral 6% - She likes it and will eat it. I may end up with a higher PMPS, but I can't be stressed out worrying that she is going to drop while I am gone. I think she is surfing along in the greens......

nice surf. :smile: I wonder if the 282 was a high before the break. How old is the insulin? Sometimes pooped out insulin shows inconsistent numbers rather than just all high numbers - in other words it might work sometimes, just not all the time.

Thanks, Libby - I may try another day or 2 with the current pen, if I continue to get the inconsistent numbers, I will pitch it and open the next one. The pen I am using is 34 days old.

I did expect a higher PMPS - as I left her with FF Tuna Mackeral (6%) since I was going to gone until just before PMPS - she did eat most the food I left out. I can only hope she surfed a little while in the greens before jumping up to the yellows again. I hated to feed her the 6% and leave, but I couldn't get out of the plans for today and stay home to monitor... :sad: :roll:
