5/7 Vet in Ottawa/Gatineau

Hi. I received a request on a yahoo list to ask if anyone knows of a good vet in the Ottawa/Gatineau area in Canada. It is urgent as a cat has a cyst and the current vet is recommending euthanasia. The cat has early CRF but no other issues. Thanks.
 
What level is the CRF and where and how big is the cyst? It may be that the severity of the CRF is such that a surgery attempt could kill the cat and the vet knows that. If its stage 3 or 4 CRF, anesthesia may be too risky.

If its beyond the skill of the vet, yet possible to do, look for specialty vets at higher level referral centers or veterinary schools. Ex Internal med, surgery specialities.
 
That's just it. The cat has early CRF and definitely not advanced. I don't have many details. Another person posted on the FPS list asking for her so I posted here thinking someone might have a vet he/she really trusts. I didn't read up on the situation but wanted to put out the request quickly. Thanks.
