5/7, Susie, 259 AMPS, Time for another Increase

Still about an average AMPS for her.
I’m keeping my paws crossed for Susie’s bloodwork to be normal tomorrow. But tell me... will this be bloodwork that they run “in house” or will they send it out to the lab? The main reason that I ask is so that I won’t ask you about it tomorrow if you won’t have results until next week! I’m just anxious to hear. I hope you will have good news!

Good question. They probably send it out. Don't worry if you ask and I haven't received the results. No problem. This is not a complete senior panel. Just a few things and I have a phone call in to find out which things will be tested. I know the WBC will be tested but I don't know anything else. I hope the ALT is checked too. I just really cannot afford another full senior panel I have had three since December.

I guess I'm confused because we went for a pretty long time not seeing pinks and now I am seeing pinks. She is ready for another increase tomorrow and I'll put my "patience pants" on. Thanks for your support!
Sometimes during the process of getting used to lower numbers (like blue for Susie) the cat bounces. Once Susie gets used to blue, she shouldn't bounce to pink any more. It just takes time. Diabetes is not a linear process. It has ups and downs because insulin is a hormone. Good luck with the new dose tomorrow. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
