I am so mad at Leroy right now cat(2)_steam He was being a PITA a little more than an hour ago. I wanted to sleep in, Leroy kept demanding playtime. No idea where Emma was at the time. I pushed Leroy away and rolled over in bed. Leroy didn't like that so he jumped from the bed up to Squishy's special spot on the dresser  I heard him and scrambled over to take him off. Leroy knew he was in big trouble so he turned around and tried to jump off.... knocking stuff off in the process @-) I grabbed Squishy to prevent him from falling off. One of Squishy's memory candles crashed to the floor and broke @-) Glass was strewn across the floor and under the dresser @-) Leroy slunk under the bed after I gave him a stern scolding. Then I cleaned the glass up. Given the time, I didn't use the vacuum cleaner, not that it would have done anything since it doesn't have any attachement tools and it's too big and clunky to fit in the narrow space between the dresser and wall. And there's the PITA person upstairs who complains about noise , though the vacuum noise would bother the person downstairs more. So I used a little hand brush and dustpan and the regular Swiffer dry duster. I did try the Swiffer vac but it doesn't pick up anything heavier than a dust bunny  I had to move the dresser a bit to get to the glass that was back there. Leroy being the nosy troublemaker he is tried to come over and see what I was doing but I kept telling him NO and pushing him away. Just the glass votive candle holder part broke. The decorative metal cat part is fine, just a little bent which I fixed. And I have several lovely deep scratches on my floor now @-)

But Squishy is fine. That's all I really care about :YMHUG: I can replace the votive candle holder. Leroy.... well, it's times like these when I want to replace him with a cat who's not crazy and a troublemaker @-)

Sounds like you had a real PITA morning!!!!! Cat antics are not funny that early. ohmygod_smile On the bright side, your day has nowhere to go but up - hope it gets there soon!

Thanks  When I left for the day, Leroy and Emma were playing with their ball-in-track donut toy. Emma would whack the ball around the track and Leroy would whack it back

I wasn't able to find a replacement votive candle holder today but I'll keep looking. I hope Squishy isn't mad that Leroy broke one of his candle holders.

On a brighter note, I inquired at the pet store about getting a tall cat tree in. They have a few small ones but I need a tall one because my two like to be up high. They said they could and got the info for the cat tree I want (67" with 4 cradles and a tunnel and sisal posts). They'll give me a call when it arrives  It'll cost a pretty penny but for the quality of the cat tree (very sturdy and heavy and will put up with the abuse my two will dish out) it's worth it. Their current modular playground thingy is starting to fall apart :? It was an inexpensive thing and just can't take the constant abuse my civies give it.

I just wish Kitty could come and play on your playground! He doesn't have anything like your set-up. Sounds nice.

You are also the only person I know whose cats actually use that ball-n-track toy. Kitty looked at it for 15 seconds, and walked away. Yawn.

hi, guys! what a morning you had!

binks has a 7 ft tall cat gym that I bought 6 years ago from scandanavian cat furniture in the midwest somewhere...
it's wonderful and the cost was amazing compared to the storebought ones...they shipped it to us...

let me know if you want me to find the info on the company.

Happy caturday to you...and you know you wouldn't love Leroy as much if he weren't as crazy!
