Good Morning, Everyone,

Cool here this morning, but unbearable heat is on the way, just in time for our trip to NYC on Saturday. And our building in the city is undergoing facade repair, so we won't be able to open the windows. Bummer! But we must go to attend a retirement party for one of our closest friends (and also have doctor and dentist appointments). It will be a quick trip and I hope that Rusty will not suffer from the dusty air.

After his excellent cycle yesterday, Rusty is bouncing (or maybe the reducie isn't providing enough insulin). I may take his dose back up a drop. He had a good night, ate most of his nighttime food, and this morning is sleeping in his little bed.

I have a ton of paperwork, so I've got to get to it. Wishing all a great day. Stay safe, those of you in the tornado zone.

Hope he holds the reducie! Yes we are in the same boat and maybe increasing back up too. I see now they have twin amps..didnt notice til you mentioned on my condo:)

oh wow, off to NYC? so nice that you will go to attend a friends retirement party. Sounds like a fun trip, minus the dentist and DR stuff. I will hope those go well.

That's not too bad of a bounce for the LagoonMeister! Hopefully the dosecrease threat will do the trick and you won't have to actually follow through. You know me...bring on the "unbearable heat" :cool::joyful:!!! Save travels to NYC!!!
 
I guess Rusty doesn't need a dosecrease! He's eating OK, so I think the drops and bounces are just the cat. What a weird cycle! Hot weather (for the mountains) and Rusty lounged around all day in his perch and in his little bed. He went outside briefly, but preferred the house, which has remained cool. I did paperwork all morning, we walked to the postoffice and to the market, and this afternoon I started in on getting my bikes ready to ride.

i heard we'll have a low of 37 on sat. ( i already put a few new plants in the ground - looking for boxes to make them covers)

Rusty, it was nice of you to go into the deep end to check for sharks, but I think you could spot them just as well from the shallows. Cinco had fun at the lagoon today. He said you didn't make a sound as you went by him, so he didn't know you were there. Maybe you two can meet up there tonight.

Ugh, unbearable heat in NYC! Sounds awful! Does your building have A/C, I hope? Amy and I are total opposites - I dread the heat. I wish I could send her ours, and she could send me her cold weather!
 
Looks like Rusty told you exactly what he thought of your dosecrease idea!!

I think we should probably all chip in and buy Rusty a shark tower so he doesn't have to go out there and check for lagoon sharks personally though!

If that's as high as he bounces off that 37, I think the rubber on his trampoline needs replacing...Not much bounce left.....LOL
