Thank you all for the well wishes. I was only able to test +5 which was 294

Do you think I should increase to 2.5U?
 
Just shot 2.5 but i might have fur shot again. It didn’t feel like I did and I thought it was good until I looked and there was a small part on his fur that was wet and I could smell lantus.

He has been sleeping with us on the couch! Took all tests really well and ate immediately when I put his snack down. I’m wondering what I’m doing that’s getting the smell of lantus on him and making me think I fur shot

When you measure it out do you squirt some back out to get your dose right, get bubbles out, etc.? When we do this I wipe the base of the syringe off with alcohol so I can be sure that smell won't trick me.

Here we draw out extra and try to tap the bubbles the end of the syringe and squirt them out. You may want to pull in an extra 1-2 units so you have a little room to play with when you are trying to get bubbles out!

I'm still absurdly sleep deprived but I see now that's what you were saying. Lol.

When I wipe off the base of the syringe, I use an alcohol prep pad and I'm very light with it and am sure not to touch the very tip of the needle so little fibers from the prep pad don't stick to the needle. I imagine this matters but don't ask me to cite a source. :b
