Good morning.

Osha is doing really well. She is very lovey, happy and her numbers remain in blue and green. I couldn't ask for more!

Today is her civvie, Mycroft's 4th birthday! I am so happy he is a part of my family. The day after I adopted him, animal control called to tell me his mother tested positive for rabies. I could either surrender him to be put down or I could keep him isolated in a crate for 3 months. I had spent less than 24 hours with him at this point, but I knew I couldn't give him up. 7 of his siblings were put down. He lived in a large dog crate for 3 months and was totally healthy. Happy birthday Mycroft!

What an amazing story, I’m glad you decided to keep him. I’m honestly shocked they would let you keep him, even in a crate like that. Glad all turned out so well, he’s a cutie. Hope the neighbor cat has stayed away! Glad Osha is doing very well.

There sure are a lot of cat birthdays today on the board, must be a very lucky day!

Animals can’t be alive for rabies tests.”



So sad. Rabies is no joke and you just wouldn’t know if you’ve been exposed or not, waiting out the quarantine could mean it’s too late...for the humans too! What an agonizing decision. I’m so glad Mycroft was negative. He’s a very lucky guy to have landed in your home.

It was an interview for a head start position with the public school system here in my city of Reston. I feel like it went really well, but who knows
