Happy Tuesday! Still working on that first ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Sending good surgery vines to Rhiannon today. KTSS on the WAY!!!!!

It's Catnip Tuesday in Gracieland. The catnip patch is flourishing right now as is the rest of our garden (just wait...another month and it will look like Mars). Lots of slobbery, rolling, happy, glazed-eyed kittens this morning and leading the pack is her Principessa self. Gracie is all things feminine and sweet except when it's World Wrasslin' Felines and then she's like Macho Man Randy Savage :lol: :lol: :lol: While the boys are chomping away at the catnip, she is just giving it tiny, demure, little Gracie licks (her kisses are so soft). And she rolls and purrs....LIFE IS GOOD!

We had such a cuddling session going on this morning after the alarm went off that I had to force myself to get up so I wasn't late for her shot. I love that time together because the rest of the day she has too many "Gracie things to do" :lol: :lol: :lol:

Look how my patience is paying off :-D :-D :-D Ok...everyone can say it...collectively "I TOLD YOU SO". Just watch...she'll give me lovely cycles with no low numbers or extra food management and then Mike will come home and she'll earn two b2b reductions ;-) Sorry, honey. :-D

Have a great day. Another crazy one for me....I have to work some more, balance Mom's and our accounts, do some VPI claims for Mom's dog and our kitties, and all the usual cat chores, plant watering, blah blah blah. Hope to catch a few condos as I go.

eta: Forgot....yes...Gussie and Gracie have a late afternoon vetty appointment (thanks, Ann for reminding me...oh well, it's on my iPad :roll: ). Also meant to put a Gussie update...he's eating much better. I think he just didn't like the menu options yesterday. I opened some Trader Joe's food for him last night and he ate four large helpings and has been eating well today.

Hi guys .. wowwie!! Look at this mornings number .. with numbers like that, gracie should lick cat nip every morning :lol: I hope that gus is eating better for you today and that your day isn't tooooo crazy! have a great day guys!

Waht a great start to the day! I hope you get everything done and have time to sit and rlax later. Didn't you say bot Gussie and Gracie have to go to the vet today? I hope Gus is eating better and that Gracie get a clean bill of health on the persistent infection!

Hi Marje,

You've reminded me to get some catnip planted! We moved this past June, and I unfortunately did not move any of the catnip. I'll have to find a nice sunny spot on the perimeter of the house and let it flourish!!!

Well my goodness~must be catnip has magical, green BG :mrgreen: properties?!?!?

Hope the vetty visit went well for both Gussie and Gracie.

KTSS squad is on call to get the vetty smell off after you get home.

Huumh? Do you think letting her roll in the catnip every day would keep her in good numbers. :o :roll: :o

I've never thought of Gracie as overly carb sensitive but lately mid cycle 4% regular food and the tiny bit of boiled chicken she gets with her denamarin seem to bump up her BG. Probably because the dose is right.....

Leaving now for vetty. UGH!
 
Back from vet just before shot time. I'm not sure if the vetty stress has a delayed effect today....I'm hoping maybe we won't see any. Sometimes do, sometimes don't.

At any rate, here's the reports:

Gracie: I've been working on getting some weight off her as she gained some the last few months and she is back down to her normal weight. I'd still like a little off of her...a tiny bit. She definitely has a waistline ...she just has a rolly polly little body. At any rate, the blood draw went great and results should be back on Thurs. Paws crossed all liver values are not JUST normal but way, way down into normal...I hope. Dr. B did the NRT and, where Gracie was showing bacterial infection two months ago, she showed none today and all organs tested at a perfect 10 out of 10.

Gussie: Gained 2 oz from last month. She thought he looked great. NRT indicated all organs tested 10 out of 10 but that his kidneys needed a little extra support so she stopped two supplements he was on and started a different one. She said it is like "drano for the kidneys" and should also keep his appetite strong.

KTSS krewe is really busy today....mostly getting that vetty smell off Neko, Gussie, and Gracie but also taking chicken soup, spa, and massages to Rhiannon.

Yay! Great vetty report for both Gracie and Gus! :-D :-D :-D I'm glad Gus's appy is back. What did Tobey do with the whole house to himself?

Sounds like a great vet report for both your crew. Nice that Gracie has a waistline but sorry she's still a bit plush. Sounds a bit like my girl. :oops: Cool on the NRT and the organs. Paws crossed for awesome liver results. I'm glad Gussie has gained a little - I like the "kidney drano" analogy. :lol:

KTSS is extra busy today, Shadow got B/W and Elian had a checkup too. Tobes is going to be run off his feet giving so many massages. :lol:

glad to hear the good news, love reading your pages they make me smile. I miss my catnip garden it would keep Taz busy all day no trouble in the house nothing got broke or knocked over.Kitties would spend all day in backyard. thanks again for the help today.Linda
