My apologies for not following up on his 39 post the other night. My computer decided it was the perfect time for an update, and I just had to sit and watch it go through four updates......head meet wall.

1.5 seems to be a good dose for him so far. We've also had an am/pm reversal lately. He's normally a little lower in the evening, and higher in the morning, but the past couple days, it's been the other way around.

I have a really important question for you.

On which syllable of D'Artagnan's name do you place the emphasis? I know he wants me to subvocalize his name correctly! :lol:

Seriously, I read the book three times as a kid.

Most of the time he goes by French Face.

He goes by D'Artagnan in formal circumstances, like when I'm trying to coax him into his crate, or groom him, or make him do something, or yell at him to stop doing something, and in all of those situations, the emphasis is all at the end, something like D'ArtagNANNNN!

It's true, amazing how selective his hearing is when he wants it to be.

And the book is fantastic. His name very much came from the book, he first came to me as a rescue, but even on the first night home, he very much wanted to be part of everything that I did, and anything anybody else did, he never did the whole private cat solitude thing I had come to expect, he was more interested in being involved with everybody, so the name just seemed to fit.

Of course, to truly fit, you need three more cats! (Or two, if you consider yourself an honorary cat.)
