Good Morning LL

Checkers ate nice FF breffis, got his tub drinks then ate more.
I wish he wouldn't go right into LB with wet feet. Oy, washing dried & caked- on litter, off the feet is tough, when he's growling the whole time. They boy hates to have his feet touched! :roll:
I hope he stays nice and blue, as I have some grocery shopping to do. Gotta keep the cat fud cupboard stocked! :-D

Omigosh, three year old Clancy is driving me nuts! He wants to play constantly, with the big boys, and they don't want to be bothered with the little kid. Clancy has no 'off' button!

Last night, he chased Checkers down the hall and jumped on him!! I'm terrified he will hurt Checkers' bad back!

There is no way to make him stop. I put Clancy in the utility room, for a while, to calm down, but that's not a solution.
I can't keep him from trying to play. Tux is his friend, and they sleep together, and bathe each other, but baby is just too rough for Checkers :YMSIGH:

Silly little Clancy! the best advice I've heard to keep a younger cat toned down is to wear them out by you playing with them!

Your poor baby....wanting to play so much. My DD has a youngster, Roxie...and she is always running aound like a crazy loon. My DD tries to sleep and Roxie keeps flying up on her bed and racing across her....off the bed through the apartment and back on the bed again! I buy her a lot of toys...(typical Gramma) and she loves them. Raja & shadow only get into wrestling with each other once in awhile and they flip toys around sometimes but "playing" like a youngster is not part of their routine.

Ohhh....I have an idea Barb..... Why not get another three year old to adopt and keep Clancy company???
That would make him soooo happy!! And they could elave the others alone while they play together....
Sound good?

Nice day for Checkers! Oh boy on Clancy. I can see how that would be too much for poor Checks. I sent DH to the vet to buy dog food last week and he almost brought home a new kitten named peaches. He got all the way to filling out the paperwork and realized I would kill him. :lol: He definitely has a cat problem. I just don't think our senior kitties could handle it.

And grrrr on the wet feet in the kitty litter. Have a wonderful day Barb!

Have you considered using the Tidy cats Breeze system? It has fired clay pellets and the urine goes through and into a pad underneath. No dust, no tracking and best of very little smell! some cats don't like the feel of it though, both of mine are fine w/ it.

I agree with Pat: you need another 3-year old (or a kitten!) to keep Clancy busy :lol:

Nice surf for Checkers today. Another 3 year old cat would definitely give Clancy someone to play with and wear him out. :lol:

Ann, I'm sure Checkers would not use the Breeze. He won't use anything bigger than the sandy clay type.Tidy Cats, etc.
The other two, will use World's Best, and they used to like the Pine, but my stores carry only the pelleted pine now.
I liked the smell.

Pat and Ella. I'd love another kitty, but I have no room that isn't claimed by these three. They gotta have their own 'real estate'
Besides, Checkers already has me about to move into the poor house. :roll:

Clancy has a basket of toys, and plays ONLY with the fuzzy balls. I throw and roll the dozen balls down the hall, he chases them, then I walk down the hall and roll them back..over and over...I'm well trained. :lol:

So, I got to go shopping today, and brought home a can of white chicken. Tuna sized. Just for fun. :smile:
Checks went insane over it, and kept asking for more.
Aha, says I..he's in the mood for chicken is he? So I opened and chopped up a can of Chickin Lickin....turned up his nose!

IT'S CHICKEN! ohmygod_smile

What a stinker! Maybe you could try mixing the 2 together? I bet the carbs in that yummy chicken is only about 1 :-D I'm glad he enjoyed it :razz:

Barb, this is a hilarious condo first, with Checkers and his wet feet in the LB and then the chicken. No foolin the cats with real chicken vs. the canned! :lol: Nice cycle today for Checkers.

Oh Checkers, you little devil keeping your MamaBean guessing over the fuds! I guess Trix still hasn't convinced you about how yummy that Paw Lickin's stuff is, has she? I'll get her on the line again so she can tell you how she always CPCs it!

I'm going to try kat's suggestion, and mix the cat food chick with the ''real' chicken. At least he'd get some of the canned food nutrients.
Thank goodness, DD's cats eat everything. I hope they like Paw Lickin Chicken :YMSIGH:

Hi barb - Sorry for the late visit! Good luck with everything! Clancy, the fuds. Lots f fun here today. It is nice to read Checkers is doing ok. BG's sure were nice today. Surf there Checkers - we all like this!
 
Another late night visitor. :oops: Nice numbers by Checkers and many chuckles for the bean. My 9 year old civie likes to occasionally jump on Neko and I have to be quick with the laser pointer to keep him distracted. Maybe he can be pen pals with Clancy?
