What is that bright light in the sky? Is it....could it be....something called THE SUN?
Good morning!
Sorry, couldn't resist. Haven't seen the sun for a week!
AMPS 130 shooting 1F
Boomer left a bit of each overnight meal. He didn't wake me up at any of the mealtimes however at one point when he came btb he decided to give me a kiss
Ah well there are worse ways to wake up
Allen had to fast overnight, has just had his pill and he'll get to eat in 2 hours.
DH and I have decided to try to get Boomer back on fancy feast. He's still picky about the other foods and to be honest, we tracked last week how many cans of food we go through for both boys and it looks like we're spending around $75 per week for food. Curious as to what the costs of the Wellness, Purrfect Bistro, Fowl Ball are in the US.....in Canada the Wellness and Purrfect Bistro are around $2.50-$2.75 each. The small can of Fowl Ball is around $1.79. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any Fancy Feast varieties that are low enough in phosphorous for Allen (and so far Dr Larry has refused to give us a p binder...may have to work on that). And of course we still need some food that both kitties can/will eat when we have to be away for the day.
On Boomer's menu today: AMPS FF cod sole and shrimp & Purrfect Bistro turkey pate, +3 turkey pate, +6 chicken pate and fowl ball, +9 cod sole and shrimp and turkey pate
ETA: Question.....would a probiotic help Allen poop....sometimes he barfs up the lactulose and he's really not liking the pumpkin very much (although I'm still trying). And the clearlax isn't helping him enough.
