Lo and behold, when I got home last night, Tarragon's sister, Turnup, had diarrhea as well. The vet put them both on Metronidazole and I am taking in a sample today to get tested. The vet is concerned it might be roundworm. They are both strictly indoor cats so I'm not sure how that would happen, but at least we might get some answers.

I had given both cats pumpkin in their supper since I hadn't heard from the vet. Then she called for me to pick up the medicine. I don't like to change more than one thing at once, but at this point I just want it over with. They were both feeling much better and slept through the night. It seems like I take two steps forward and three back.

Happy Friday and happy mother's day!!!

Poor kitties! I can't believe the digestive issues of LantusLand are still going around! I hope they're feeling better soon....and I know how you feel about wanting it over, and now!

Have a great day!!

Good morning guys .. sorry to hear about the LB issues at your home .. I hope the meds work fast for both kitties .. have a great day guys!

Thanks for stopping by Abby's condo today, she loves company! Tarragon is a beautiful cat and shares Abby's white chest. Sorry to hear about the kitties having the runs today :( Hopefully that yucky metronidazole works its magic! It usually works for Abby in those cases but just makes her foam at the mouth and leave drool all over the floors. *ew*

Hope your babies feel a lot better--I used to give pumpkin to my Copper as he was always constipated..
Feel Good Kitties--HUGS!
