Vet visit, Taffy was good boy and calm. For just under $300, I got my insulin Rx refilled...
Well, I did get a blood chem panel and urinalysis, but man, those are pricey! $170 & $72, respectively. No results today, as it is all sent out to IDEXX. I thought they would do an in-house BG, which I was interested to compare, but they said their machine was out for service or something. I don't think the young woman vet is very experienced with diabetes management, but I listened to her. She wants me to try the DM food, seems to think that cat needs the "simple carbs" to help regulate blood sugar. I said "no, thanks" to dry, but took the two free cans of wet she gave me. She didn't say so, but I could tell she wasn't pro raw. Did anyone think this DM food is as magical as vets seem to think?
