 on that AMPS!!

yesterday: http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=94700

Good Morning, Everyone,

That was a king-sized bounce this morning. Rusty was at 115 when we went to bed and heading down to green, so I guess he got there, judging from this AMPS! Rusty enjoyed all of his morning routine and is now in his little bed by the radiator, cleaning the lung treat off his whiskers. It will be another warm day today and we will leave the porch doors open so Rusty can sit out there while we are out on the paddle. Everyone wanted to come on this paddle, so we will have 16 or 17 people. It will be fun getting over the 3 major beaver dams!

Back this afternoon with a full report. Rusty will have lunch in his automat. Wishing you all a good day and sending healing vines, good thoughts, etc. to all who can benefit from some.

Ella & Rusty

Hi Kitties. Anyone want to come and chillax on my porches today while my beans are out on their paddle? Lots of cimmamum cookies in the cookie jar!

Morning Ella, sounds like Rusty is getting all settled in his little bed by the radiator. Hope he breaks the bounce and safely slides down. Have a great paddle. Glad you all finally have some nice weather.

:YMSIGH: I think Rusty followed Tess on her bounce, he knows better than that! Enjoy your paddle, your weather sounds warmer than ours!

Rusty! I was hoping you would call a radiator day! I's still tired from last week! Catmint Crisps fresh out of the oven and a good supply of lizard tails for the grill. -- Tess

Hi again,

It sounds like the kitties had a great day chillaxin' and feasting. Rusty is still up there, but it always takes him a while to come down after one of these trips. He was asleep in a porch chair when we got home at +9.5.

The beans had a wonderful, challenging paddle. Those were BIG beaver dams that we had to climb over. Nothing is more fun than balancing on top of a beaver dam with all the branches and pieces of wood unstable underneath your feet while you try to get the canoe over the dam and onto the other side and then try to get back into it again without falling into the water (which, on the upstream side of the dam is streaming toward you). Only one person had an involuntary swim at a beaver dam. But the greatest feat was accomplished by one of our friends who had baked a birthday cake for Edward's birthday (which was several days ago) and who managed to get it, herself, and her canoe over the beaver dams, get to the picnic-lunch site, and manage to keep it all a secret. We all enjoyed the birthday cake (with a candle, even).

So that was our day. Such fun it was. Heard and saw lots of birds, a muskrat swimming, and loons.

Hope you all had a good day, too.

Hi Ella. Glad to see Rusty left the pink floor today. Hope he makes it down to the blue or green zone tonight.

You had quite a large group canoeing this afternoon. How many canoes need to be in the group before it becomes an expedition? How wonderful that your friend managed to secretly get Edward's birthday cake over the dams and set up for him. It sounds like you have very good friends.

Have a great evening Ella.

We had 14 paddlers, all in solo canoes. It was a great day for the beans, but poor Rusty is back on the pink floor. I hope he clears this extended bounce soon.

ni ni, tired tonight!

Rusty is a bit of a rainbow kitty today. I hope he gets tired of that real quick. Sounds like a very fun paddle! :-D Amazing that the birthday cake survived the portages!
Liz

Rusty, come on down. Pink is definitely not your colour. At least he is home now and we know he'll get over it.

Your paddle sounds absolutely wonderful! Really cool on the birthday cake being portaged.
