What a great amps yesterday - a 114. What a relief after the day before. I had hoped maybe that Mannie was headed towards the greens but we ended up with a high blue, low yellow cycle. It was a mellow day yesterday. I thought that maybe we'd get some action last night - nope... more yellow, nice and flat and steady, at least until +5: the blue was nice to see. I suspect that he surfed the low blues last night - it was great to get at 148 @ amps. cat_pet_icon the +1 @ 234 makes me wonder if we won't get a repeat of yesterday morning....

All is well in MannieLand. Relationship development continues with the tiny human, aka my DGS. Mannie is still unsure - he just can't seem to figure out that tiny human who can move with such jerky uncoordinated moves. He'd sit on the other sofa and stare - with the "what is he doing" look. :lol: :lol: We only had one retreat to the safety of the basement - YAY! The rest of the day he slept in his bed, with ever the watchful eye open, evaluating... back and forth between the tiny human, and the nanners. :lol: Don't worry Mannie - your nanners are safe. He's not yet mobile. We have normalcy this morning: breffis = clean plate club, testing = hurry up I'm hungry!, shoot = huh? did I miss it?, post breffis = nanner security, slobbering, chewing, cuddling, hugging, sleeping. The day = "please tell me that tiny human will not be here...and that the sun will be out....." well, 3 out of 4 ain't too bad. :lol: Yep, life is good. More rains here today. No doubt this will be a sleepy kitty day. :cool:

Another day of DGS care - I know that I will not be able to get to many condos. I hope I can keep Mannie's up to date. :roll: Know that I am thinking of you all, hoping that you are all well and that your furkids are having a good day. Have a great day everyone! It's Friday!

My friends! PHEW! and what a day yesterday - the bucket brigade at Rusty's, and Zoe's Cinco de Mayo Pool party, and the KTSS travels, and the Midnight Pool Party at Gracie's. :cool: :cool: :cool: What shall we do today! I think maybe we can get Tess to let us come to her place - she has this cool greenhouse with really fun things! We could chase lizards, and go for some dunes sliding. Sweet! I haven't been popping in lately. I loved the update and that it now includes how Mannie is adapting to the tiny human. Made my day.

I bet, too, the +1 and +1.5 may be partly food spike and hoping Mannie boy comes down later in the game. I can just picture Mannie with one eye open looking at DGS and guarding his nanners. I can see a little relationship starting to devlop, slowly but surely! So cute with the nanners. You have rain and we have fog right now, probably some smog, too! Enjoy your DGS today. I bet he is so excited to see you when you babysit.

Hey Mannie, yesterday was a very full day for us felines but oh so fun. Vegging out at Tess's greenhouse sure sounds like a lot of fun! Chasing lizards and some dunes sliding, too. See you soon, Maggie

Hi Michelle. That food spike is normal for Mannie, and will be gone before you know it.
I too, enjoy reading the progression of the the relationship between Mannie and Nicholas. :-D Pretty soon, the 'Nanner King will be taking over the babysitting duties for you. :-D

Not too bad - liked seeing the blues and yellows - way better then those pink/red colors! Glad the relationship between DGS and Mannie is progressing - at Mannies pace - can't rush these things. :roll: :-D

Mannie - dude, what a day yesterday!! I'm ready to go to Tess' - sounds like fun! I step on the the geckos tails here around our pool - and their tails FALL OFF :o :cool: Pretty awesome - that way I know which ones I have "caught" and I can leave them alone - at least until their tail grows back. :lol: :cool: :cool: ~Zoe

Morning Barb - And true on the food thing - it was a carb higher - not that that should matter too much, but he usually will spike. so.... coming own already. :-D and yes!!! on the babysitting duties being passed to the nanner King. I expect that will be the case. He's great with him as long as he doesn't cry. Once we get passed the crying stuff to indicate needs we should have a great thing going between the two.

Morning Ann - Yep - I think that the +1, +1.5 is food - he's starting to head down, so I hope it continues... It was pretty funny watching him trying to sleep, but also wanting to keep tabs on all that was going down. :lol: :lol: It is fun with my DGS - it's nice to see those big smiles when he first sees you. He has one that will melt your heart.

Hi Ann - i know on EINNAM! Sometimes I think he senses that DGS is coming, and he ups it enough to cover all bases, give me some slack. then again it just may be stress related, knowing the tiny human has returned. Who Knows??? He's starting to come down, hope it continues.... and no biggie on the condos - i did the same thing!! It was a good thing Mannie was yellow.... :roll:

Hi Irowen - He did well with the little guy today - stayed most of the time about 6 feet away... until about 2 PM when the tiny human was wailing :lol: that sent him to the basement. well - in time it will all be good. well yeah on the blues, but then he headed way back up. :?

TIme for you to graduate LTS. :lol: :lol: :lol: Here's to a nice cycle tonight but not an all nighter. Nice that he is adjusting to the little human (sometimes noisy little human). I don't blame him for going to the basement, baby cries are unnervng. I know it is necessary and healthy but still ---------------- Hope you have a good night.

Hi Barbara - yep. time for the boy to graduate from LTS. I wonder how many time one is allowed to take remedial courses. :lol: I hope the cycle tonight is a good one. paws crossed... and yes - on baby cries - they are unnerving, Nicholas does well in that department, but there are moments when those cries are so intense. I don't blame Mannie either - it is quiet and comfy and cozy down there. I am glad that he has someplace to go.

That must be pretty funny to watch him size up the youngin!
The blues and yellows are very pretty, He and Tommy must have spent a lot of the day together.. that pm color, let's blame it on the meter :lol:
And just to let you know, it won't be long before I get the pleasure of witnessing all the hooplahhh!! about this nanner thing.. I ordered 3 of them earlier this week from e-bay. I sure hope my furbabies enjoy them as much as all of the other kitties seem to around here.

Hi Michelle & Mannie, Well, the day was pretty OK! Mannie will do what he will do, as we all know! I hope you have a good, but restful cycle this evening. You sure had a busy day.
So did I, with the cellar and all sorts of other stuff that had to get done. Still planning on going to NYC on Sunday, but won't make a decision until tomorrow. We had sun today (for part of the day; but NO RAIN).

I've been away from my computer most of the day so I had to do a double-take to believe these were Mannie's numbers!! I guess he wanted to see how the other half lived, huh? He needs to know that you never, ever have to visit the ghetto to know you don't want to be there.

Hey Mannie!! Don't visit the upper floors, it worries the beans. I know my bean gives me lots of extra scritches when I stay on the lower floors!!
