Good morning,

Yesterday's condo

Yesterday
AMPS=202 (0.75u); +2=191; +3=200; +10.25=191
PMPS=198 (0.75u); +2=187; +4=196; +7.5=167

Today
AMPS=148 (0.75u); +2=182; +3=178; +9.25=158
PMPS=202 (0.75u);

Lucy was feeling and eating pretty good yesterday, but her appy is poor again today. :sad:
This going forward and backward is so frustrating!

She stubbornly refused to eat the last couple of bites of the 1st breakfast.
It was Wellness Turkey 5.5oz can which she ate well last night.
I don't think she'll eat any more of this, so am trying decide what to offer next.
I used so many cans from a stash of special Wellness (older lot# Wendy found earlier this year) after the dental, and I don't want to use any more of them....
I'll probably try Turkey&Salmon......

Sending vines to all in need.

Re: 5/6 Lucy AMPS=148

Oh, Lucy....eat up!! I hear ya on the ups and downs....I was just sending an e-mail to a friend explaining how exhausting it is to be up and happy one second,then totally bummed the next. We all understand how you feel - at least you're in good company!

Sending appy vines for Lucy!!

Re: 5/6 Lucy AMPS=148

Be careful with the salmon foods. Some cats with pancreatitis have issues with salmon. I hope she likes it and it agrees with her.

Re: 5/6 Lucy AMPS=148

Thank you, Amy.
I thought of you and Trixie this morning.
How you are also on this up & down ride with me and Lucy. :YMHUG:

She ate 3oz Turkey & Salmon better.
Phew......

I forgot to mention in the first post because I was focused on getting her eat, but her numbers are looking better. :-D

Re: 5/6 Lucy AMPS=148

Hi guys .. awww, come on now lucy .. eat up your fuddies!! It's a nice blue start though! Have a great day guys!

Re: 5/6 Lucy AMPS=148

Thank you for the tip, Elise.
Turkey & Salmon is my least favorite because of higher phosphorus, but it has the highest success rate when she doesn't eat. :-x

I did not know about pancreatitis and salmon.
I have not noticed any relation between salmon & pancreatitis flare in the past, but I'll pay close attention and I'll be sparing with salmon food.

J.D. seems to have problems with Salmon now. He loves it, but it makes his tummy hurt.

Nice blues for Lucy today. I hope her appy gets better and she'll eat the food you have.

Thank you for checking in on Lucy and appy vines. :smile:

I could tell Lucy didn't enjoy it but she ate the 1st dinner by finger-feeding.
She made the eww face while chewing Wellness Turkey.

Maybe Lucy would prefer the Wellness chicken for a change. Rusty often prefers it to the turkey. I hpoe Lucy's appy continues to improve. Hang in there, Mariko!

Ella & Rusty

P.s. I only feed the 3 oz cans "product of Canada". Never had good luck with the 5 oz cans from the USA.

Lucy went to poo after the 1st dinner, and came back with a poopy bum.
She looks so guilty whenever she has a poopy bum.

Poor Lucy on the poopy bum. She probably doesn't feel great about it either. :sad:

Eat your fuds please Lucy, and how about returning to those blues tonight too.

Poor Lucy. No one likes a poopy bum! Cats are so fastidious - they just hate to be dirty. :sad: Maybe the reason she wasn't more enthusiastic about dinner was because she had to go poo.

Ahh, the fuds dance. It's hard enough when they have FD, but then add in kidney issues and ARGH. :o Then, if you have multiple fuzzy kids, you always have one that doesn't like something the others do....It's enough to make you tear your hair out! As soon as I get one they will all eat, I stock up, and then, of course, no one wants it!! :roll: I don't like the fuds dance. It makes me dizzy! :dizcat

Sending appy vines and good poo vines, too. Have a good night, Mariko.
