Yesterday

Considering that he had a great cycle that had 2 greens and only went up to 491 this morning, I am going to call yesterday's R experiment a success. We a run of ot least 14 hours of decent numbers to get his body used to them and no crazy hypo last night; that makes me happy. Of course, a pink would have been even better, but we'll get there!

Off to church this morning then prom shoe shopping with DD in the afternoon, so hopefully no crazy stuff for DH while I'm gone!

Floyd and Asia are in cahoots today, we got quite a dive over here too.

Really nice run yesterday! :woot: Hope you see a lot more of that and a lot less of the space missions. ;)

However, if you are home at +9 or +10 and he's getting his space soon on, you might want to try another experiment. Provided that Mission Control is on the job tonight.
 
Well, poo. Plans changed and I couldn't get a +10 or 11, so I don't know if the PMPS of 188 is still going down or coming up from a lower number. :banghead:

I think I'll get BGs at +0.5 and +1 and see if I can determine if using R would be warranted.

Just a guess, but based on your data and how this cycle has played out thus far, I don’t think he went lower and came up, I think that’s a falling number.

ETA: you could stall without feeding for 20 and know for sure and it won’t throw off your shot schedule any

I already fed him, so stalling is out.

His + 0.5 is 247, so I'm going to check again in 30 and see if another experiment would be beneficial.
 
OK, he's rising fast, so I went for it and shot the R. Last night, the onset was +2 and nadir +5. The starting numbers are higher, and he didn't get into those low blues that make him bounce so high, so I'm interested to see how this cycle goes.
