I probably don't have to worry to much cause in 15 minutes or so he'll probably sky rocket to 330+ or similar but it's almost amps for us here in Long Island and Robbie is at 250 - a number I have not shot 5.00 into yet - thoughts? He woke me crying I had a hard time getting up but when I did I found him with a large spoonful of his 2am food uneaten - as I came over to him he started to eat what was left - so now he has that in him. I'm going to wait till a few minutes after his amps time and test again - see what we get.
So here we are at 5:35 am (amps plus 5 minutes) and he 288 and than I test again at 5:45 and he's 289 (just making sure) so he got his "new" 5.5 dose (as inspired by his forgetful father) and his breakfast and I'm going back to bed and hope to sleep till amps +2 when we will see what havoc we may have wrought! ;-)

Damn, your schedule sucks...
I myself wouldn't have liked to be faced with that decision with no input from us. I would have said "yes" but I would have been nervous for you! Gutsy call, Ellen. Keep us posted.

Carl I would SO love to get him back to 7am/7am but he really has always wanted to eat something at about 5:30/6am and I used to just give him the food and go right back to bed. Now it messes up his numbers so I don't know what to do other than do the feed/shoot business at the ungodly hour or 5:30am and RACE home or make sure my husband gets home for the 5:30pm (which is a challenge sometimes). Tonight we had a party to go to - we ended up having my husband leave and come home to the dog and Robbie's med schedule.

So here's how today panned out so far: (I think I have a similar post running elsewhere I'm sorry if I do - I can't remember - too many Margaritas
amps 289
+3 299
+6 184
+9 140
and yet we still end the day at PMPS being a big ol' pink 312....
After dinner and his 5.5 at PMPS
at PMPS +3 he was 314 - insulin fighting that food I guess.

The PM numbers pretty much mirror the AM ones, give or take 15 points. Looks like the insulin doesn't start to work until after +3. Well, actually it is working because it is stopping the number from rising by +3.

When the AMPS and PMPS match, that's not a bad thing. If he'd drop lower and maintain the equality at the start and finish of the cycle, that would be a great thing.

Well, that would be our goal sort of right now- I'm still contemplating tid but won't know when I can start till I have more info on how it will work - going to read more on it today as I know there are posts on here that have lots of info.
