I might have to start the last pen tomorrow. I might not be able to get the last bit out even though it's more than the 3 units Leroy needs. The end of the bandage is just a cement blob I did think about covering it with a baby sock and replacing the sock as needed but I'd need a lot of socks.

The mom of my friend who's getting married text me today I guess bridal shower invitations were sent weeks ago but something happened with USPS and most people still haven't received the invitations. I got a image of the invite. I have no way of getting to the venue so will decline. The invite says gifts can be mailed directly to the bride. I'm already getting her cats a tower from the wedding registry. Do I need to get a bridal shower gift too? My friend is the only one in the group who responded to my text last fall and offered to drive me to and from surgery and later when I needed help cleaning the rat cage.

I agree with Staci, a gift from the wedding registry should be okay, especially since you won't attend the shower. That said, I always let my heart lead with gift giving, and sometimes if I feel like giving extra, I do. But one gift from the registry should satisfy the rules of etiquette.

Yes, it was nice of her to offer and to help with the rat cage. She loves rats but can't have any because her older cat is a former stray and will try to eat a rat. The other people in the group are and can go kick I haven't been in contact with them since before surgery.
