Happy Sunday all! Gobbles woke me up at 5:30 a.m. and had a hearty breakfast, and then we both went btb till about 8. He got his shot about 45 minutes late as I was getting ready to go out of town for a while and so pushed his shot later thus I'd be home at least by nadir (actually got home at AM+4--decided to skip the baby shower after the visit with my son and daughter :lol: ). I had thought I gave him a furshot, but I must be wrong because his AM+4 is 70. He's being extremely sweetie this beautiful 75 degree sunny afternoon and I think he is due for a romp in the dandelions and woods :cool: I took him out for a walk yesterday, but it didn't last long because he insisted on nibbing at the Irises and therefore was ordered back in the house...

Heeeey, I could have sworn I saw Gobbles' condo today. Hmmm.

Hi Kat....I would love to take Checkers out more often, but he doesn't care about walking around....just wants to eat grass/weeds. Since I'm not familiar with the safety of the weeds, it's not much fun to keep prodding him to walk.
That reminds me, I've gotta bring in some dandylion leaves for Cassie cockatiel.
What a nice day for Gobby :mrgreen: ....is it okay if I shorten his name?
My DD, Susan, hates when strangers immediately call her Sue, when they are introduced.

Sure, you can shorten his name--I call him "Gobby" more than anything else! Also, sometimes I call him: Gob, Gobs, The Gob, Gob-Gob, Prince Gobbles, Sir Gobbles, Globby, Google, Gobby Ray, Prince Gobbles Raymond Jones, BFFF, Sugar Boy :lol: DH calls him "Slobby"....

I have been steering his numbers for a few days with MC and crunchy treats (esp. at night so I could get a few hours of direly needed sleep). He most likely would of earned a few reductions... He is still dropping at PM+12.5. He had not eaten since PM+8.5, so when he dropped to 53, I fed him a t. of LC and a t. of MC (total percentage about 10%). His shot was due at 10 a.m. EST. Now I will have to wait until noon. I really think he is due a reduction (and had withheld a few the past two weeks).
