Morning LL Do Lou is doing pretty good still need to get these numbers down its been a while since we saw the blue floor and so we keep going up the dose ladder  he is still itchy maybe not quite as much not sure if this zyrtec is going to help need to give it a bit more time though.... his appy has been good most days and I do think he is feeling pretty good he still insists on tub drinking which at 2am gets old but oh well he is my boy and lubs him  but we have all Ps to report this morning and he is in the tub as I am typing this silly boy cat_pet_icon

I know zyrtec is one of the allergy meds for cats but so is benadryl.

For humans, Benadryl is used more for hives, itches, as well as respiratory allergies where zyrtec tends to be more respiratory directed only.
I have severe allergies and my dr told me to hold off on benadryl as much as I can to save it for life threatening emergencies. (Anaphylaxis )
Most of the common medications don't work on me anymore because my tolerance is so high.
If the zyrtec doesn't show some signs of helping soon, you might try the benadryl instead.
