She seems to have had a good night last night and has started today out well - she has eaten almost the full can of FF Tender Beef - definitely eating better than yesterday. Will be getting some checks in this morning - see where she goes from her +4.5 nailbite_smile :smile:

We found a baby parakeet on our driveway this morning - just sitting there - seems to be uninjured. SO we have it in a wicker wastepaper basket until we can find its owner or get it a cage....does anyone know anything about parakeets???? :? I have only owned furry babies.....

Good morning guys! I love all the blues zoe is wearing lately .. looks so pretty .. Don't know anything about parakeets unfortunately .. hopefully someone else around here can help you .. have a great day guys!

Love Zoe's #s this AM. Sorry can't advise about parakeets. Do you have any nature centers or rehab places for birds. In Ct we have a few and they will take orphaned birds. Just a thought.

Morning! What a nice couple of Cycles for Zoe - and today we have green! SWEET! I am glad too that her appetite is back - always a plus.

It has been decades since I had parakeets... Had them as kid, but can't remember much. house birds, caged birds, don't require much short of feed and water. Outside is not good for them, that I remember.... I wish you luck in finding the owner - hopefully they are looking.

Well not a bad day for Zoe, nice numbers and a new friend - she has a lot of curiosity about our new little friend - but no aggression, lots of sitting and looking at each other. I went to Petco and picked up the basics, cage, food and a toy. I named him Skynyrd (after Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird ;-) )

Here is a picture of Skynyrd in his new home......
