Today: starting about the same. Tuscany had her 4th adequan shot on Saturday. DH and I both think she is moving quicker and a little more sure footed. Not jumping on anything but did try jumping off couch ( I caught her on the way down - we try to cushion her landings). She also for whatever reason seems to be fiestier with the other cats lately. More hissing, in your face comments to them- which is more in line with her personality.

Regarding adequan - original instructions were for 4 shots every 5 days then as needed. So we did the 4 - any suggestions on how often from here? Once a week? Every other week??

Can't help you with the Adequan other than to suggest that maybe you post over on Health.

Good start for Tuscany.

Hi Tuscany, Sure, you must come early to Baby's party and help me taste the food! And later we can dance a gentle waltz, so that you won't have to stress your legs. I'm looking forward to the party! See you there.

Hi, Joyce & Tuscany ;-)
No advice on the meds.. but droppin thru to show support & say that Baby is looking forward to Tuscany at her party!! Good news on the whole cat report.. fiesty & jumpy means feeling gooooood!! Yay! Wishing you both a beautiful cycle & I just know expert eyes will see your meds question.. how about us helping them & changing your subject line to read: Adequan Question :-D

Joyce, I know Cassandra was a big fan of Adequan. My vet won't do it, but I'm interested in learning more. Kitty moves so slowly, and the Cosequin just doesn't get the job done.

Nice drop tonight. Gave lc- will be testing again shortly .
Kathy - why won't your vet use adequan?

TWO nice drops, actually!

My vet said she wasn't aware that Adequan was for use in cats. She used it mostly in dogs. If it's really making a difference for other kitties, though, maybe I could hunt down some research for her.
