Trix's appy is kind of "meh" so far today, so I am doing a little assist-feeding to bridge the calorie gap. She IS eating, just not very enthusiastically, and not as much as I think she needs to eat. Her appy was a little "meh" yesterday, too, but I did wait that out and not break out the syringes until this morning, even though I was very tempted to do so last night. I wanted to see how things were when we woke up. I'm just supplementing with syringes, not doing 100% assist-feeding.

At first she seemed a little blah this morning, too, but when she heard my typing, she came along for some snuggles and was looking pretty bright-eyed. Maybe the syringe-calories gave her a needed boost!

We have a post-Penn follow-up appointment with the local onc today, so I need to get moving. I'm hoping to do a little bit of catching up with visits when I get back. Have a great day, L&LL!

Maybe it is the warmer weather that is making the kitties not eat right. Sammy has had the same problem since last night. Hopefully they will both get back on track quickly.

I, too, suspect the influence of the weather/season, on Trixie's appy. I've been experiencing summer appy syndrome here for the past week or two. Interestingly enough, today is cool and windy, and everyone (except Minka, of course), ate well! Sending appy vines to Trixie, just in case.

I hope all went well with the local oncologist. Vines and prayers for your DF.
 
Adding our good thoughts for your dad's appointment today. I hope it went well. I think the hot weather has a lot to do with kitties' poorer appetites.
