Greetings all,

We are hoping for a day just like yesterday!
BLUEBLUEBLUEBLUEBLUE! :cool:

We are having a tick population boom here, going to have to put the revolution on the indoor/outdoor civvie and the Advantage Multi on Tiger today! Hope it doesn't mess with the stability he may have finally gotten back to!
 
Hi Kathy. Tiger has come a long way since the beginning of the year. Keep up the good work and hopefully we will see more blues. You need some opossums around to control your tick population. Do you have them up where you live?

We do occasionally see one. Some years we have an abundant tick population and this is one of those. Last year it was acorns...100s of them from the tree above our house lol.
Thank you for your encouragement! It is such a rollercoaster! As you know...looks like Susie is getting some blue also with that increase yay!

We have made a little progress with each increase. Thanks for your support as well and, yes, it is a rollercoaster. I don't know how people do this for years but when you love your kitty they are totally worth it.

Summer, do Opossums eat ticks? I find opossums to be such interesting creatures. For example, they cannot carry rabies. And of course, they are North America’s only marsupial.

Hi Suzanne,
No Tiger is indoor only. Our civvie is indoor/outdoor. She was a neighborhood stray. Our neighbor got her fixed after she had kittens in his bushes, and we took her in after he took her kittens to the shelter. But she LOVES to be outside. I had to put a bell collar on her because she is such a great huntress...she kept bringing us half-dead birds. She always wants to be in overnight, yay.
