Finally a blue amps, havent seen one in a bit. Im going to work on giving him a good brushing today. Unlike other cats he doesnt love to be brushed. College ds is also coming home for the summer. My nights of uninterupted sleep are over till Sept.(I listen for him to come in every night).
on the ot...This is Princess b-day month. 17 years ago this month she was found in a tree trunk with 4 other siblings at my girl friends house. We never knew what happened to the mother because she never came back for her babies. My gf took care of the kittens until they were old enough to be given away. I did have the pleasure of kitten sitting one weekend when she was away. What an experience, especially at feeding time. I'll never forget all the lip smacking noises of 5 kittens eating their wet food. I had little food prints all over the kitchen and the distinct smell of kitten FF. We decided to keep one but I have two sons and the oldest said his brother would always hog up the kitten and he needed one too. My dh noticed all the sibblings were always pushing one out of the way to get to the food so he would feed this one special, it turned out to be Princess. We also kept her sister Beauty, an all black cat for 6 years until she passed due to kidney failure. I believe Princess is the last of her litter still alive. In a house of all men shes always been my "daughter". So far she has no big medical issues although I do notice her hearing is off. She still flys through the house like a bee is chasing her and begs for people food like a dog. Happy Birthday Princess and I hope you have many, many more.
