I did not get results yet. I don't know why. I just called the other vet practice and left a message, that vet might be in later this morning.
I suspect that IDEXX wasn't as fast as they promised to be or the vet here mispelled my name. :roll: ( easy enough to do)

So when I know, I'll share.
Shadow is doing fine as usual. Her appetite has been better since her 12 hour fast, I sure hope that continues.
Maybe she needed a re-set. :lol:


We met my dd's boyfriends family last night, had them all over for ribs. There are 7 of them. And after dinner we played a game called Cranium
which was lots of fun. ( new to us) We liked them which is a good thing. They may be family some day.
I will always treat my kids significant others as possible future family. :cool:

My surgery is scheduled for tuesday at noon. What a yucky time. Can't eat after midnight and then I have all morning to dread it.
I did have way too much coughing last night so I hope it's just the last hurrah and that it's clearing out of my system.
If I'm still doing it by tuesday, they will send me home without the surgery.
today is my last day of antibiotics but I still will have the prednisone and inhaler until the surgery date.

Prayers for any who need them.

Shadow is nicely poised for the Lagoon, I hope they get the results to you soon. I'd bet on some sort fo typo glitch.

Best wishes on the surgery, that would be tuff to wait until noon. argh!
It's so nice the dinner was fun and that you enjoyed the maybe new family.

Nice start for Shadow this morning. I hope she comes down and gives you green. Sending prayers for all to go well with your surgery on Tuesday.

Hi Rhiannon! We're big fans of cranium --- such a fun game! Glad you had a nice time with new potential family. I'll be thinking of you and sending tons of good vines for your surgery. Shad is looking good today :)

Nice AMBG for Shadow...I'm glad to hear her appy has improved. Many prayers for a successful procedure on Tuesday!! Please keep us posted!

sorry I disappeared today but for a brief 30 minutes....

had to get ready for the senior party for my dd, try on my costume, make salad for 70 plus....
and then we looked up the start time for iron man 3 and it fit.... so we ran off to see that movie tonite and I'm just getting home.
It's great.... I might like it best of them.
there's a little bit at the end after all the credits so don't leave when the credits run.... ( there are a ton on credits)

I'm glad you are getting out and having some fun before the surgery. Sending good vines for that. It'll be so nice to be done.

Shadow seems to be handling the business in your house in her usual range of numbers. Glad her appy is back. I hope you get the B/W results soon.
 
never did hear back from that vet this morning. No messages.
I'm guessing IDEXX didn't move as fast as they claim and I'll hopefully know on Monday.
It will be here fast enough.

Meanwhile Shadow still has her odd spike here and there.
I hope I won't be down long after my surgery since I'd rather get started back on a drop of insulin asap if needed.
And I'm feeling that's the way more and more.


Does insulin make them hungrier?
She doesn't have the appetite like before when we were on the juice.
 
You have all my best wishes for a successful surgery and full recovery.
I'm pretty sure you won't be down long, Shadow has a great mom. :-D
