Good Morning Everyone,

Our hearts are heavy today as we send loving sympathy to Roni and Brad and Moonie on the loss of their beloved Copper. He chose his own moment and he's flying free. wings_cat

Rusty had a good night (he woke me up at dawn in time to be serenaded by a White-throated Sparrow--my favorite bird). Good test and shot and breakfast (1st sitting), and Rusty decided to take a nap in his basket while I went down to deal with the flood in the cellar. We had 2 inches of rain yesterday and about 1/2 inch is expected today. The cellar is worse than ever. They say the rain may clear out late tomorrow. Our village has sustained about $5 million in damages to its bridges, dam, buildings, and water/sewer mains so far. There are sandbags everywhere, so our little flooded cellar is nothing in the big picture.

Everyone have a good day. We are sending healing vines to all kitties and beans who are not feeling well,

Morning Ella and Rusty; what a nice AMPS to start the day. Oh how horrible with more rain and more flooding in your cellar. I sure hope the rain clears out as predicted. I wish I could send you some sun and nice weather.
Is there anything we can do for you - can you get out for necessities insofar as food, etc? Hoping for better days ahead.

Good morning .. this is a nice starting place for rusty .. sorry to hear about all the rain you guys are still getting .. As you said in the big picture your cellar flood isn't much, but it still is quite a mess you have to deal with and that is to bad .. hope you guys stay safe!

Ella, I am sorry that your basement flood is still going on. I hope you are getting some help from your friends and neighbors in the area. I am sending drying out vines to you. The sun is supposed to make a rare appearance here tomorrow. I hope that you get a bit of it as well.

Ella, so sorry to hear about the flooded cellar. Such a lot of work that brings. Just like a cat, Rusty doesn't seem to be too bothered by it!! Good #s this AM. Hopefully, the rain will stop and repairs can begin.

Sounds like a beautiful start to the morning, if only you didn't have to go down in the basement. I hope thing dry out soon. How is edward's shoulder doing?

Hi Everyone,
Rusty is surfing the 50s! The cellar is terrible. Edward had his first session with the chiropractor yesterday and thought it helped. He's going to continue and will see him again tomorrow.

Back later, have to go to the Post Office and to feed my friend's cat. It is still raining.

Mother Nature can sure be a beotch!! We're dying for some rain here in Las Vegas and your getting waaay too much. I'll certainly be praying that things dry up for you so you can get rid of the lake in your basement.

Ella: These are such awesome numbers for Rusty. I'm glad he's feeling well today!! I bet he is disappointed that the rain is keeping him indoors.

I'm so sorry for the ongoing rain and basement flooding. Shall we send the bucket brigade again? I caught Tobey out lifting weights....mumbling something about needing to be strong to help Aunt Ellabean with buckets. I told him you weren't really HIS Aunt Ellabean because he is a civvie but he said you treat him special :lol: :lol: I don't mean to make light of the tragedy upon your village or the basement flooding which I know has to be worrying you. I hope just to make you smile for a minute.

Hi guys! Well, bummer, big bummer on your cellar. I am sorry. and so sorry for the village. The damages sound extensive. I really do hope that the rains subside soon, things dry out even sooner so that repairs can begin. I feel for everyone there.

Very nice news on Edward - I hope he will begin to find some relief.

What a set of nice numbers for Rusty. Maybe he could lend one of two of them to Mannie. He could use some help today. :roll:

Rusty! Does the kitty bucket brigade need to come and help again? We were good... and hey - party tonight for Kushi - in Florida! Lots of grillin' to do, and we will have a candle ceremony for Copper, and Emma. Gracie and I were hoping that maybe we could get Moonie to come and sing for her brother. Paws crossed that she will. Hi Mannie, I've got my stuff all ready for Kushi's party and I'm on my way (almost there). I'll swing by Moonie's and ask her to come so that we can sing "Over the Rainbow" for Copper and Emma. See you very soon,
