Hi L&LL,

Rusty is doing well today. His congestion is gradually getting better (although he has been doing a lot of "reverse" sneezing). His appetite is good. He wants to go outside, but the weather is too damp and drizzly and we don't want him sitting on the muddy ground on his surgery spot. He will have a follow-up with the vet next Tuesday.

Beans are fine (except I have one of my 3-day migraines--getting better this afternoon, however). The drastic change in weather is to blame. Our area is under a flood advisory. The river is almost up to the base of the bridge. The pedestrian walkway along the river is closed in places.

Our house is getting it's annual seepage of ground water. I have the sponges out on the basement floor. Our sump pump is firing about every half hour (several years ago, during the big floods, it was firing once a minute!).

Happy hour is about to begin and Rusty is waiting for us. bbl,

I hope you feel better and you keep that basement dry.

Have you tried Advil Cold & Sinus? I get bad headaches for days due to weather changes and my DM directed me to that OTC medicine and it worked in minutes when nothing else worked! I just tried 2 weeks ago for the first time.

Wow that flooding! Glad it’s a walkway and not a road!

Happy Rusty is eating for you and good that his congestion is clearing a bit. I’ve had a similar 3 day long headache, not a migraine but I’ve been suffering. It’s the pollen and the weather for me, it’s finally let up a bit today, I’m glad to hear the same for you! :bighug: More vines for Rusty to keep being awesome, I hope he gets to go out soon when the weather is nice and it is dry. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Have you tried Advil Cold & Sinus?
Actually I used to take Advil Cold & Sinus, but don't take anything anymore because I learned that aspirin and ibuprofin can knock out your platelets for a week (on just one pill!).

Rusty had a trace of blood in his stools this evening, when there hadn't been any in quite a few days. We'll keep watch.

The trees are tossing in hurricane-force winds. We are under a tornado watch. I'm going to close down my computer for a while. bbl.

Oh my about the springtime flooding. Glad you have sump pump and arsenal of sponges.
Glad that Rusty unphased by the rising waters.
Vines for a sweet night and a good, drier tomorrow. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I'm happy to see Rusty in such lovely green numbers and to know that it isn't because he's not eating! Rusty, don't take your duties too seriously, please. The shark nets are holding just fine.

Sending appy and breathing vines for Rusty and stay safe vines for all of you in that weather!

Hi Tricia, Every time Cinco de Mayo rolls around I think of Cinco (and Harvey, too, of course). I hope all is well with you. Thanks so much for your visits to Rusty's condo.
Awww, thank you Ella. He's been on my mind today, and I wasn't even thinking of Cinco de Mayo. Now I know why. He was so different from every other cat we've had, but I learned the most from him.
