I really messed up the schedule yesterday. Well technically it wasn't me, but I had the opportunity to meet my great nephew for the first time. Since he is just over a week old his mom is in charge of schedule and timing, so I took what I could get in terms of a time to go visit! It just turned out to take longer than I had planned so Rosie got off schedule by 2.5 hours. I'll re-adjust over the next couple of days. Good news is Rose is just rolling with it and he is a healthy and beautiful baby. New mom and dad are doing great and they loved the baby quilts. All in all, so far, I think I'm a great aunt.

I might have an excuse to visit their area more often. I found a natural pet food store near their house that has a great selection of Radcat and offers a frequent buyer club, so I'll have all kinds of reasons to be "in the neighborhood" often.

How exciting, I hope you enjoyed your visit and great that you can get that way to see him more often. I'm sure he's just as cute as his quilt that you made.
