We started this morning with some whining before the alarm (and the civie partner doing the heaving lifting by sitting on my chest). Fortunately they were only 5 minutes early. Neko's such a good kitty - she knows the after breffs drill well. She lies down when she knows it's shot time, cause it makes getting a fingerful of skin that much easier. And from there into acupressure, complete with cuddles.

I was in the solarium watering plants after breakfast, when Neko noticed I was watering the hanging catnip plant. She came over and asked for a sample. So I gave her a few leaves. I have to keep the plant in a hanging pot, or she would demolish it.

Sounds like a nice way to get up in the morning. I always like it when Toby jumps in bed in the morning. I tried giving catnip to Toby he eats it then sneezes. He doesn't roll around it like my other cat used to. Glad you are seeing sunshine.

That's not a bad start for Neko. At least the early morning wake up call wasn't too early.

I can see Neko getting that catnip if she could just move the ladder.

my nanners came today from that website a few days ago where we all grabbed some.
I had several pkgs and Shadow started circling them.
Then I figured it out... 3 nanners.... she could smell them thru those heavy plastic bags.

I wish Rusty liked catnip. I have a great plant, and we have 4 catmint plants in our garden. But he totally ignores all plants, including catnip.

You're making me think about trying to grow catnip again! I never thought to put it in a hanging basket, it was always in the garden and you can imagine it all got torn apart by the whole gang of neighborhood cats!

Classic bookend PS by the catnip monster today.

@ Peg, Carla, Rhiannon, Anne, Ella, Ruth - Catnip seems to have inspired her this afternoon for a dip in the lagoon. Neko likes all things catnip. Theo only likes it dried and always gets jealous if I give some to Neko, and then ignores it when I give it to him. Cats!

Only one of my four cats cares at all about catnip - Cinco! My nanners came yesterday,too. I gave one to Cinco and he rubbed on it and even gave it a few bunny kicks, and then it became a pillow.

Neko looks lovely today. I hope she keeps up the pattern.

Nice little dip Neko, perhaps some more catnip might inspire her to try again. What a wicked bean leaving it where you can't reach it.
