Morning ~O) Maggie's AMPS always seems a little high either due to eating right before the two hour timeframe pre-shot before I remove the plate, or it may be a mini bounce from some greens last night.
I have my car back after four days in the car repair shop. It was an intermittent problem with the car starting sometimes and other times not turning over, so it was difficult to diagnose. Wouldn't you know once I got it into the shop, the car started for them. They knew there was a problem though. Finally one morning it wouldn't start for them, and so then they could diagnose. Long story short, I needed a fuel pump, very expensive with all the labor, etc. but very necessary. Anyone living in CA knows we depend on our cars as everything is so spread out, so I've missed my car. I was able to get some errands done online. What would one do without a computer these days! Next time I'll rent a car.
Mags is doing so well lately, and she continues having really nice numbers, anti-jynx. Love you Mags.

Nice start for Mags! I know she will come on down for you quick. Sweet girl just wanted a little snack. Tarragon does the same thing.

Great to hear you got your car back. A fuel pump is not cheap, but at least it is fixed and you are behind the wheel again. Have a wonderful day Ann!

Hi Ann,
You have your car back and I have my little tractor back. We're ready to roll!! Maggie, I'm sure you'll come down nicely from your AMPS. This is a big party weekend, so rest up now!

Have a good Friday, guys,

Ella & Rusty

Very nice start for sweet Maggie girl!

I'm glad you've got your car back. They are such a hassle, but yep - so necessary these days. I get nervous when mine is in for just a few hours for an oil change - you know, "just in case" I need to go somewhere!

Have a great day, Ann!

We love Mags too! You are starting out well this morning Maggie - keep up the good work.

YAY on your car, boo on the expense, but I am ever so glad that they were able to diagnose the problem. It is so true on how much we rely on our cars... it is that way for me too. Love the internet, but no substitute for being able to get up and go.

Have a great day Ann - walk maybe? or maybe just take the car and go, just cuz you can. :-D

Re: 5/4 Maggie AMPS 153 AT

Lovely figures Maggie!
Glad you've your car repaired Ann! It must be very inconvenient without a car in CA.
In Hongkong, the city is terribly small. Everywhere is more or less within walking distance. The traffic is congested so people here usually use public transport. The mass transit railway covers most area & it's easy for us to get around. Pets or animal is not allowed on public transport. So, taking our cat to vet will need to get a taxi.

Boo on the car expense, here on LI they are a necessity too, but we do have buses & trains...
Hope this fixes it for a long while--Moonie was green for a minute, but is blue like her buddy Mags!

Nice cycle! Maggie doesn't seem worried about no car at all! At least it is fixed now, the idea of being stuck is in all of us. I'm in the boonies, grocery and pharmacy within walking distance and that's about it.

PMPS 136

Thanks Ella, Michelle, Melissa, Amy, Roni, Torti and Ann & Tess for the visits. Maggie did well today. I feel like she might be on this dose forever. Maggie's PMPS is lower than her AMPS. I guess with the free feeding over night explains it. Thanks for all the good wishes on getting my car back. It's running great and I can tell a difference. I overdid it this morning with so many stops that now I feel like a truck ran over me. Ann, I also feel like I'm out in the sticks of this particular area with it being so residential. We have one local market, but a little too far to walk. Maggie is chatting away now that she's had her shot and eaten. She's sitting on the bed staring asking for a brushing, so duty calls. :-D

Not bad for Miss Maggie and her PMPS is looking good! Ann, glad you got your car back, although a fuel pump sounds very expensive. I don't think I could function without a car. I live in a town that is also spread out and our mass transit is not that great.

Hope you have a great weekend!

Re: 5/4 Maggie AMPS 153; +3 104; +5 104; PMPS 136 AT

Nice numbers today for Maggie. I was wondering if you think maybe the "dawn effect" could be the answer for the high AMPS. Daphne is the queen of "dawn effect" on this board I think. I tried many things, the one that worked and brought her AMPS down (+9 pm snack), a good thing, BUT, it for some reason, brought her mid day numbers up :?

I love shopping on the internet, I don't like to drive much, so I just use Amazon,… I had a scare yesterday though, I got all these spoof emails from (I thought) Amazon, Paypal, Verizon…turned out to be someone phishing for my passwords and other info.

Great cycle for Maggie today! Yay on getting your car fixed, but too bad it was expensive. What can you do? You gotta have a car in this country.
