Good Morning World! Welcome to our home! Last Condo
AMPS 292
BIG ole' almost pink number this morning but he decided to do his cliff dives yesterday - handed me a 50 at +10! Another one of those times I struggled to get him up so shot a BCS half dose last night. He didn't want to eat ANYTHING I served this morning - finally ended up sprinkling a couple of crushed temptation treats over his food to get him started. All P's in place - just his normal silly antics! He's btb in the sun over here on the fort. His hair is just sparkling in the sun - beautiful....belly showin', makes me want to go rub it but THAT will get me bit...)))
Since our last condo, Leo's gone to the hospital again and is back out....he was still having breathing issues so took him back in Friday. We decided to try another tact - we've been treating like it's an infection. This time we began treating as an allergy or asthma - albuterol seems to have helped quickly. I'm changing the litter in their boxes to something else - not sure what but something without odor and dust. I still think that has something to do with it. Our regular vet poopoo's that but 2 of the other vets in the practice are beginning to agree with me....we'll see....
NOW 'Disasters Become Miracles'!!!! Remember last October when my left eye's fluid sac detached from the rear of my eye? I didn't know for sure if the sight would return completely and what would it be when it finally healed. Even the doctor couldn't tell me. That left eye has always been the bad one, astigmatism and always way off 20/20 since I was young. My glasses were slightly corrected in the right but massive correction for the left. When I had my last eye exam - my LEFT EYE is 20/15!!!!!!!!!!! WOWOW!!! What began as a horrible disaster to me ended up handing me a WONDERFUL miracle!!! I can close my right eye and see great! These new glasses are the LEAST strength I've had in 40 years!
Spike began touching down that broken toe yesterday so he's on the way to healing. He still holds it up most of the time...
All other fuzzy feetz are doing well altho' the new pups are getting antsy to be outside. They have such different personalities - Jill is quiet but loves everyone and everything especially curling up on a lap. Her legs are so long she folds them up - with her light gold coloring, she looks like a little fawn. Ginger will bark at anything new but wants to be right with 'her' bean everywhere she goes, bouncy, jumpy thing with lots of energy. Her favorite trick is to grab Moochie's cat food bowl off the table and head out the door with it. Jill will smell inside it to see if there's anything but leaves it there - Ginger doesn't take TIME to check it out, she grabs the bowl and runs...there's never more than bitty crumbs when Mooch finishes.
We FINALLY got all the wallboard up in the kitchen! NOW I can start laying out the tile for the stove backsplash. DH moved the plug for me so I could put up the last counter shelf. I'm beginning to think it will actually be FINISHED soon!
BIG HUGE HUGS to all that visit today!
