Yesterday's Condo

The kitties are liking the warm weather complete with the doors open to the courtyard. They get to lay in the sunshine in front of the screen door -- fresh air and sunbeams = happy kitties. I got to put some flowers in and start to add more color to the courtyard.

Flowers and color brings birds and butterflies ... kitty television.

Good morning! My kitties have been really happy to have all the doors and windows open as well. Sammy has been itching to go outside, but we have a new robin next that is fairly low to the ground and we don't want to scare off the mama. It is low enough for me to be able to peak in to see that there were three little eggs waiting to be hatched. DH read up on it and found out that if they get scared to much they just leave the nest and don't come back.

Flowers and color brings birds and butterflies

Butterflies yes, birds, no. I'd be concerned that the birds would be slamming into the glass. Three sides of the courtyard are glass. I'm not sure birds slamming into glass is the kind of kitty TV any of us want to watch.

Yes, the glass is hard on the birds, we have reflective stickers and tapes that help, but there is still the occasional collision. Tillie knows that sound and dashes out to grab the poor thing when it is still goofy.
