Started in blue, slowly up to purple at PMPS. Rosy was slow with her food. Refused to eat on her own but would eat from spoon feeding :? Gave her an enema around PM+1 released a pile of pressie. Bg dived to blue @+3 then green till PM+7...

Today
TGIF! This week has been busy with Tiger & Rosy needed hand feeding. Another naughty one, OnOn also need daily spoon feeding on canned food (dry knibble junky!). She eats canned as well, so I dont want to leave her to follow those hard core dry knibble gang. Today when a shelter asked me if I can take up 2 tiny kitties, I refused & felt so bad about it. I considered myself full loaded & got no more resource for another 2. I think I am too old to take in kitties, another 20 years of dedication is something I can not cope. Hope they can find loving home.
Weather is terrible. It's around 17 degrees yesterday & today, coldest record month of May in years, no wonder kitties are affected.

AMPS 67  gave Wiskas + NV & 1.75u
(+food@+2)
AM +3 52  gave tsp of hc w Miralax
AM +5 97  Miralax

Lovely greens on Rosy - I hope you see lots more of them today.

It sounds like you are very busy Helen, what with all the hand feeding going on. It is hard to say no to little ones, but they'll likely find a home more easily than the older ones.

I think we are supposed to get up to 18 tomorrow, and that's warm for this time of year.

Re: 5/3Rosy AMPS67/3 52/5 97

I'm glad you got a prezzie from her and that her numbers will improve. I also hope she will eat soon.

Brrr...very cold!

Re: 5/3Rosy AMPS67/3 52/5 97

we're having a little coolness too.... low of 24 tonite. I had to go put trash bags on my flower pots outside to give them a little protection.

Hope Rosy keeps surfing the green. Must be feeling a little better from getting some of that poo out....
Paws crossed you can find a good balance with the extra miralax.

I think the kittens are more likely to find homes too.
I know how hard it is to not feel bad.
I have an outdoor cat that adopted us that needs a real home too but I can't just take him to the shelter without the guilt. I'm afraid someone will
adopt him and let him outside with the coyotes and no fenced yard for safety.

Hi Helen, thanks for your post last evening and for the link on Health regarding constipation. I should get on Health more often, as that's where first I had a lot of help on Maggie's Megacolon. That's very interesting on the Methy B-12, as I just recently started Mags on it to help her anemia, and I notice she's not limping as much.
So glad Rosy had some nice prezzies yesterday. Those enemas really help. Sending vines for continued prezzies for Rosy. :-D
I'm sure the kitties will find a home. I know it was hard for you to refuse, but sounds like you've got a full load right now.
Wow on your cold temperatures. We are supposed to have 90 today, a little too hot for me.

Re: 5/3Rosy AMPS67/3 52/5 97

Nice numbers for Rosy today - I hope the hand feeding is working out for now. I agree with everyone else - the kittens should get snatched right up. At some point I'd love to adopt a kitten or even better, kittens from the same litter. We've always adopted cats past kitten-hood who have adopted us. It would be nice to get cats who aren't already "damaged" in some way, even just the trauma of living outside. Have a good night!

Re: 5/3Rosy AMPS67/3 52/5 97

Nice greens Rosy! Sounds crazy there. Happy Friday to you Helen and I hope you have a great weekend!

Re: 5/3Rosy AMPS67/3 52/5 97

Hi Helen,
Rosy is looking great in green!! I'm sorry that Rosy, Tiger and OnOn are needing hand feeding. I hope they feel all better and start munching up their fuds... although the extra special care from you probably makes them feel so well loved.
I'm sure everyone is right that those sweet kittens will find a wonderful home soon. Kittens always seem to fly off the shelves.
I hope your weather warms up! (and ours also!)
take good care my dear
mary and ollie

Hi, Helen, you are so amazing for caring for all these kitties.
You are also amazing for knowing what your limits are.
I hope Rosy and Tiger and OnOn all have better appetites soon.

Stay warm!
