Yesterday was a so so day, but his numbers seem a little flatter. I have increased his does by .25 units to see if I can get the numbers to come down a bit overall. I will continue using food/syrup if Tuxie appears to be ready to do any big drops, in the hope that his overall curve can stay flatter and hopefully lower.
On the positive side my two "grandkitties" that are staying with me for the next month seem to have settled in nicely...with a few treats and extra cuddles from "Grandma"
I took them out in the backyard for awhile yesterday and they were so happy to be back in "their yard" again. When they lived here a few years ago, they loved going out with me and licking the grass (very weird kitties!) and chasing bugs.
My two kitties are still not happy about having the "brats" back here again, but they have called a truce and now are just counting the days until they leave again. They also get their outside time, but I have to do it in shifts...the two "brats" one time and my two another time. That keeps the peace and is much easier for me to keep an eye on everyone. Maxie, my civie is still spending most of her time in my room to avoid the "brats", but she is fine with that. She has her own food and water and her own litter box and regular "maid service" Plus yesterday she got a nice basket of clean laundry to sleep in. Tuxie seems to be enjoying his role of "hisser". Every time one of the "brats" comes around where he is, he feels it is his duty to give and good hiss, then go back to sleep. So all is good here.
