Gave him half a can of FF at 5p-ish - 3 hrs ago (or so). I was thinking of retesting in 30 mins too.

While you're waiting, how about updating your SS.

I want to encourage you to start thinking about shooting. You've been worried about Tiki being in high numbers. Tiki has been surfing since +9. You've shot low before. This is not the time to lose momentum.

I updated the remarks section as I was told once that its not a PMPS until I actually SHOOT. Should probably fix my subj line too.

Well then. Going up.... If it was me, I would shoot and feed. And get at least a +2 to start. And you have strips, honey, hc food, spare lancets etc right?

You have shot low before, plus you have handled lows before... You should be fine..

Yeah but he needs it. Shoot low to stay low, u know the mantra. Just get tests in. Be ready to steer with food.

I normally only give him half a can of food at this time of night, followed with a full can for the overnight otherwise he bugs the CRAP outta me at dawn to be fed (there is NO snooze button on a hungry cat). Should I have given him any more for right now? It's FF turkey and giblets.

Nice job shooting!! Generally, when shooting low (and if you're nervous about it), you'll want to get a +1 and a +2.

Oh Gosh, I know!!! Far too many kitties leaving us lately.

How are you faring with the fire warnings? I am watching the weather in OKC and can't believe it's hitting them again in the same place.

On a more humorous note - I am sporting my first pair of bi-focals tonight. Too soon to make any judgements but so far it's like looking through a fun house mirror. I hate this getting old thing.... :roll:

I got bifocals this year too.
I wish I'd gotten bigger glasses. I used my reading glasses frames since I hadn't used them that much.... frames were still in great shape.
Now I wish I'd gotten new frames that at least went up to my eyebrows....

And it's definitely a fun house....
I keep trying to use the wrong part for what I am viewing and wondering why I can't see.... :roll:

So far that's what I am doing too. I know it's going to take a bit for eyes to adjust to the new prescription but so far I don't feel like things are tack sharp so I am wondering if I ended up with the right prescription - but I am reserving judgement. Probably too soon to tell.

Nice to meet you too! I just read A's profile and can't believe Jetzin's MIA story. That's crazy and wonderful all rolled into one!!!

I am still up and rather bleary eyed @-) and so far he is surfing happily in the bloooozes. I think I will finally head to bed and test again in 3 hrs just to be sure. He's been given another can of food 2 hrs ago so that must be helping keep him steady.

I hope you guys are OTJ real soon! Tiki is being quite stubborn on the process! :lol:
