I figured out why her numbers spike occasionally, and it is from the Fancy Feast appetizers. Seems they are around 10-14% carbs. She was 138 last night after I fed her some, and looking back the same thing happened other times, but I didnt connect it. I woke up to vomit everywhere from one of the civies, and one pile had a hair ball with one of those red bologna strings in it. Some how she got a hold of it and ate it.. ugh..Im off to work and will update tonight.
 
Ah, the morning puke investigation. Definitely not one of my favorite things! Bologna? Arghhhh.

Keep up the super numbers Chi Chi...those appetizer treats may soon come off your menu! Or not.

Not sure if that 49 was correct. Mom gave her gravy food and up she went! She didnt feed her again til the +4(lc) and fed again at +5.5(lc). I'm holding her at 1.5u unless she drops below 50 again early on. She did poop sometime after I left this am, which tends to drop her numbers.

Yes, those appetizers are too high in carbs for every day feeding, but they can be used when kitty needs a little help getting out of the deep end of the lagoon. I keep forgetting about them when Cinco goes looking for mermaids, but I have some in the pantry to use to try to tempt Minka to eat.
