Kaz's numbers are too low to shoot insulin this morning and I have to leave for work in 45 minutes (latest).

He's at 71 and he is eating now.

Should I give him .50 units?

Did you not feed and stall and retest?

He most likely dropped lower during the night and is coming up now.
What are you feeding him?
Are you able to come home at all during the day today?
What is his appetite like?

No afraid I did not this morning some reason I got confused and fed him. Honestly I don't think it would have come up by much in 15 minutes anyway.
I'm assuming its too low to really give any insulin as I am not home.

No I can not come home during the day. I fed him food that was 12% carb.

That was a good idea to give him some higher carb food at AMPS
If his appetite is good I would give him 0.25 unit and leave out some 15% carb food in all his food times today. He might bounce but we want him to be safe while you are not there. Are you happy to do that?.

Ok I can do that.
He was starving. Not sure what happened last night I thought I set my alarm for 2am but either I slept through it or I forgot.

So I will give him .25 units and leave him high carb food.

No I have it set for +3 and then +6.
These were the two times you had previously suggested so I stuck with these.

Ok that’s good. So can you put the 15% into those two please? It also says in the SS you feed around +8?

No I feed where the BG number is what I feed is right next to it. Way for me to keep track of what carbs I am giving him.

I usually feed him again at +9 or +10 when I get home.

I know that when I first came onto this site someone had mentioned a pharmacy in Canada for getting the Lantus.
Been going through old posts but don't seem to be able to find this info would either of you be able to share this with me?

I spoke with Marks and it takes three weeks from date of order to get it to me so that was not going to work this time around. I have asked about the pens so will wait for an answer otherwise I will buy one more from the vet and then start using Mark's when I return in July.
