Well, it looks like Trix's appy issues yesterday was primarily connected to the batch of Purina One I had. Last evening, after her initial rejection, I opened a can from another batch, and voila - happy appy was back on the scene! So apparently "Expires March 2017" is icky and "Expires January 2017" is da bomb. Crazy cat! This isn't the first time she's been displeased with a specific batch, so trying a different batch is now part of our routine when appy issues crop up while everything else looks good. I have some March 2017 cans I need to exchange!! As an added security measure, I am also currently giving her cerenia daily for a few days, rather than my usual "every 36 hours".
Snuggles, feistiness, bright eyes, and fairly decent gelcapping all in place...anti-jinx, anti-jinx, anti-jinx. I'm working today and then going out almost right after (after feeding and medicating, of course)...very rare for DH and I! It's a local "block party", basically a "21 and over" street festival the next town over. Should be fun!
I have the store to myself tomorrow, so I hope to/plan on catching up with everyone then. Have a great day, L&LL!
