just gave her ondansetron.... waiting 30 for cypro....
she ate her ff appetizer this morning and some raw shrimp but that's it..... just sniffed her offering and left.
Hoping the meds get her eating....

We ran off to dd bf from high school's graduation ceremony and about to go back to her after party.
My dd didn't go to her graduation so this felt a lot like that... as this girl was like a second daughter.
I normally hate graduation ceremonies but since tickets are limited, we felt special to get invited and I enjoyed it for a change.
Who'd a thunk it.....?

If you've got a blender (or can pick up an inexpensive one) and can get some large oral syringes - 3 mL for example - blend up some food to milkshake consistency and start assist feeding, asap. Here is a good video on You Tube. More than 2 days without food and you run the risk of DKA and hepatic lipidosis.

evening...
Shadow took lots of prodding today.... had her ondansetron and her cypro.
she did eat after the cypro.

we went out for dinner.... and came home and I opened a can of friskies salmon shreds with gravy.
I think she's fine with the seafood.....
my gut tells me it's the gravy that bothers her..... but it's the one thing she will eat.... willingly....
she cleaned her plate.

so....
new thought...
gotta think of how to make a sauce that is attractive but not necessarily "gravy"
I have a recipe for a bone broth for cats ... I think I'll make that tomorrow and see if adding that to her pate foods ( that she's ignoring)
see if that helps her to eat.
