So tonight, just feed him the normal low carb meal at preshot and then at +1-1.5 give him some 15% to slow that big drop. You should only need low carb after that as we have only used low carb today and he’s doing fine, except for the big slippery dip ride ar +2.Last night we fed him half a can of 15% as his PMPS meal. Then another teaspoon of 15% at +1.5
Ok…so tonight 1/2 can of 5.7 (or less % ?) as his supper. Then 15 at +1.5-2. But that’s not what we did this morning. We gave one spoon 2.9 at +1.5 and then 2 spoons 6.1 @+2.So tonight, just feed him the normal low carb meal at preshot and then at +1-1.5 give him some 15% to slow that big drop. Yes. But it didn't stop the huge drop between 1 and 2. That's why we want to go back do doing the 15% just for that time.We gave one spoon 2.9 at +1.5 and then 2 spoons 6.1 @+2.
I have tried many times. It wont enter. I think I may have deleted the code in the cell. When I try to enter the number the writing turns blue and I cant go to the right of it to get out of the blue. One time it even changed the number in the World to US.Jill, sorry, but can you enter the 225 at +2 into the US sheet, so it won't say error.
So far he is doing okay on low carb, but we do have some hours to go. Will try to stick with low carb, though, or no food if he's flat.he’s doing fine, except for the big slippery dip ride ar +2
Yes this morning we purposely only gave the low carb food so we could see when he had his onset and big drop. So now that we have identified where the onset and big drop is, we are going to try the 15%food at +1.5 to see if that slows down the big drop. Does that make sense?Ok…so tonight 1/2 can of 5.7 (or less % ?) as his supper. Then 15 at +1.5-2. But that’s not what we did this morning. We gave one spoon 2.9 at +1.5 and then 2 spoons 6.1 @+2.
So one spoon of 15 instead of one spoon of 2.9 then then two spoons of 6.1. Give only one spoon after supper, and it will be 15% at 1.5?Yes. But it didn't stop the huge drop between 1 and 2. That's why we want to go back do doing the 15% just for that time.
yes. sleep wellIf I head to bed now, are you OK to take over now Suzanne?
Thank you Bronyes. sleep well
Thanks. I hope the rest of the cycle goes well. And I hope you can both get some sleep.yes. sleep well
Pleasure. Try and get some naps in today if you can. The alarm was my best friend when I had Sheba.Thank you Bron
Don't get too anxious about it. I think this evening we will try to give 15% at about +1.5. I wouldn't worry whether it is one or two spoonsful. A teaspoon is not a lot of food and it's early in the cycle -- maybe even 2 teaspoons since he is supposed to go low carb after that (when he needs it, and nothing if he's not dropping a lot or quickly). After that, you can use low carb and you have a lot of options to choose from, I see. Anything under 10% is considered low carb.So one spoon of 15 instead of one spoon of 2.9 then then two spoons of 6.1. Give only one spoon after supper, and it will be 15% at 1.5?
Try some low carb food. Canagan? What do you think, Jill?83 @+4
Doing ear test
Thank you for the Contour reading. I feel a lot better about that number and giving the low carb. I think we can try a spoonful of the Canagan or anything under 10. Very good and safe number.Canagan is 7.5. It would be the highest so far. But maybe doesn’t matter since its under 10?
Bron thought the lowest point was +1-+2We have identified that his big drop is between +1 and +2 so if we give some higher carb food then hopefully it will slow the drop.
No. Not the lowest point. the lowest number is the nadir... so far, the lowest number is the 83. We have seen (not just today, but I had observed this on most every other day!) that he does his biggest DROP between 1 and 2. That's why yesterday I said to go to the 15% between 1 and 2 (which is what we will do tonight again).Didn’t Bron think the lowest was at 2? Im confused…
Bron thought the lowest point was +1-+2
Don't worry about it. You can't fix that. You've entered so many other numbers in there, I see. No worries!+2 on US SS says “formula parse error” and wont let me enter anything.

Oh, and that is a Libre reading, right? I haven't entered any human meter numbers into the tally ... those were just for our benefit.185 @+5
Right. Libre reading. And Woooohooo! Just saying to Ivy, this 3:00 looks a lot nicer than the other one. Really still don’t see how this will all be resolved in a neat little here’s what we gotta do daily package…but 3 pm is nice. Going to sleep now. Thank you!Oh, and that is a Libre reading, right? I should feed him a little something LC at 5:30 though, I think. Maybe just 1/4 of a pack? Or… not?Well, he's done it. He has followed his pattern and is coming up at +5. Obviously he doesn't need any food and you can rest or do something else now. I think it's okay that we used low carb on him at +4. It was definitely low carb and only one teaspoon!
I believe a little LC snack would be fine.I should feed him a little something LC at 5:30 though, I think. Maybe just 1/4 of a pack? Or… not?
