I could not seem to get the 4.75 dose dialed in on the syringe this morning, so considering Jack's numbers and his ketones, I decided to go with 5 units. I'm home to test and watch his behavior. It's doubtful he will plunge over 200 points so I took the chance and went with the .5 increase instead of the .25increase. I have looked at the sticky for fine dosing, I think I'll need a better pair of glasses or at the very least to feel better and not be as shaky to find the invisible line for that increase. I guess I'll worry about it when it's time to go up again. Hopefully,we won't need too many more increases.

Given his yellows were mid yellow at best, I think you were fine with the 0.5 unit increase. I used a magnifying glass for smaller doses (at first). You can buy headlamps with magnifiers that people use for crafts that might help. After a cat gets to 5.0 units, increases are typically by 0.5 units at a time anyway, unless just tweaking a dose that gets you some greens.

Hope you feel better soon.:bighug:
